Who I am
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy who came to this profession via teaching yoga originally. As a person who is fascinated with the human body and appreciates how much quality of life it can offer, I am always learning more about how to enhance wellness and well being in grounded and realistic ways.
I have been formally practicing as a Physical Therapist for 6 years and teaching movement for 14 years. I completed a post doctoral Orthopedic Residency in 2023 and went on to complete a Spine Fellowship in 2024. With two years of post doctoral training, my professional experience is in working for a large healthcare organization.
Some of my unique healthcare experience has been co-treating patients with Physical Medicine Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Because of this experience, I feel comfortable reviewing imaging, have familiarity with some of the medication you may have been prescribed, and have knowledge of what the healthcare system can offer you as an adjunct to the long term strategy of re-educating your movement.
I have also maintained a pelvic health practice and am passionate about educating clients and bringing awareness to this often neglected part of the body.
After treating a multitude of orthopedic, spinal, and pelvic conditions I have a breadth of knowledge and experience I’m looking forward to sharing. I’m returning to working with clients individually in their homes for depth of practice. I’m interested in providing thorough treatment approaches to people who want to invest fully in their well being.
